She became interested in dentistry at the young age of eight when she was riding in the back of her father’s truck and was exposed to carbon monoxide poisoning. She ended up hitting her mouth and knocking out several teeth on the concrete from dizziness. She was rushed to the hospital to have the teeth placed back by an Oral Surgeon, because of this early childhood experience, she became very interested in helping others with all their dental needs.
Jessica was born, raised, and currently resides in Hartford, MI. She grew up on a farm growing vegetables and taking care of animals. In 2009, she married her husband, Matt. Jessica and Matt have one son and one daughter. They enjoy hunting and fishing together. Dental Assistant and Flow Coordinator
Jayme is our flow coordinator. She keeps patients safe and makes sure the day runs smoothly. It would be safe to say she is the most “popular” person in the office—as we all rely on her to set up patient operatories, sterilize instruments, assist us when we need an extra hand and most importantly to make sure our patients are safe!
Jayme comes from a family that works in the dental field which gave her the inspiration to work at a dental office herself. She loves making people feel comfortable and all things related to teeth! Match that with someone that has good organizational skills, management skills and communication skills and Sharp Smile Center has a star employee!
Jayme graduated from Watervliet High School and has a degree in early childhood development from Lake Michigan College. She is working towards becoming a dental assistant.
Her dog Arie keeps her busy but becoming a mom has taken over most of her free time! Jayme has a beautiful baby boy and he is the joy of her life! She also loves to spend time with her family and is looking forward to buying a house soon!
