There are two ways you can have your teeth professionally whitened. You can use customized bleaching (whitening) trays at home or have your teeth whitened in the dentist's office. For at home whitening, we take an impression of your teeth and then custom plastic trays are made from these impressions. The trays are worn with a bleaching (whitening) agent for a period of time each day for about two weeks, or until you achieve the results you desire.

This is professional teeth whitening, done at home. The ingredients are similar to over-the-counter products. Professional fabrication and proper trimming and fit of the trays is what makes the difference. The whitening agents penetrate deep into your teeth and are able to remove years worth of accumulated stains. With professionally fitted trays, the gel reaches all areas of the tooth uniformly.

At home whitening takes a little bit longer than in-office bleaching (whitening), but it is less expensive and the end result is similar.
