The Snap-On Smile, pictured at the left, is made from a crystallized acetyl resin. It literally snaps on over your existing teeth, giving your smile a dramatic new look. It is strong enough to eat on it, and it is estimated to last about four years. All of this is at a small fraction of the cost of porcelain veneers.

With the Snap-On Smile, you can get a complete smile makeover often for the cost of just one or two veneers.

The procedure is relatively simple. You first meet with Dr. Sharp to determine the shape and shade of the teeth you want in your new smile. Dr. Sharp then takes impressions of your upper and lower teeth, so that models of your teeth can be made.

The models are then sent to Den-Mat Laboratories in California, where they create your new smile for you based on Dr. Sharp's detailed instructions. When you come back into our office, we then adjust the smile to make sure it fits perfectly. Your new smile is now ready to go.

You can now wear it as much as you like. You can eat on it, but Dr. Sharp would recommend that after eating, you excuse yourself and find a place where you can snap it out, rinse it with water, and put it back in. You also need to take out your Snap-On Smile to brush and floss it, and we recommend leaving it out while you sleep.
